With the lockdown I've been concentrating on local birding, and have found a nice area near where I live in Sussex only lived here in 8 years!! Seems to have some good habitat so hopefully, will be able to spend a lot of time there cutting down on the road miles got to be good!! Anyway we had our third wander around "The Patch" today lots of Youngsters about, actually saw a Chiffchaff feeding young seemed to be at least 4 youngsters, Lots of Tit families, Mistle thrushes and a few Woodpeckers about as well, a very nice wander

Hi all been out locally again today!! Pretty good encounters with some Yellowhammers if anyone reads it ,or looks at the pics can they confirm or deny if the non male Yellowhammer is a Female or Juvenile, I think it's probably a female as seems quite yellowy but nice to know for sure, anyway full story on me blog at the link below
