I've got some good news. The swt have agreed to give details of the printers used for the first lady of the loch book from the memorable last year on the nest. Susan from WildlifeVillage.co.uk has been in touch with the printers and it looks like a goer. They need money up front of course so I'm asking if there are any members on here who would like a copy. Not sure how much the Cost Will be but it really is worth it. Maybe around the ten pound mark. Either message me here or come over to the village site.

Sorry I did not see this before. Yes I will want a copy.

Oor frank has brought yet more moss to the nest lol. Yesterday the nest looked good. Today it looks 'busy' lol. Trying not to be rude. Haha.

Perhaps you should leave a message at "Ospreys". There may be more people wanting a copy there.

Glimpse of the clutch of eggs

11.28 Easter Saturday

Logged on and saw Lady doing a little housekeeping, up on her feet, pulling bits of fern over the cup.
I could just see the eggs................ she then shuffled around a little before hunkering down over her precious eggs.

It's a pretty cold, miserable day up here, so she'll need to keep them warm.

very very quiet here. Frank brought in a huge fish tonight i heard. And Its also been noted that marge does stash fish and leaves it somewhere where frank Will find it. Don't know if Thats been noted anywhere that ospreys cache their food.

I've often wondered about that Ann, since a sighting I had some years ago at Balgavies.

There an island with trees on it not far from the hide and watched an Osprey fly towards it. I thought it was going to land on top of the tallest tree, but it didn't. He just stretched his legs out, then flew away with a fish in his talons - he had not been carrying a fish when he approached.

It was one of those things when you say to yourself "did I really see that?" LOL

something similar happened tonight on camera. Its amazing how little we actually know isn't it? Frank appeared with a huge fish. He ate the head across from the nest to annoy marge. He brought the huge fish to marge. She Flew off. An hour later she's back fishless. No way could she eat it all. Camera zooms across the bay to see frank munching on a fish. Its got to be the same one. People are surprised he got out the water with it. Lol. He even chased a crow/rook off clutching it in his talons. What a guy.

I saw that too Ann, but I'm sure it was a new fish that Frank had as you could see its tail flapping about. If only I could have recorded it .... Maybe they'll post an official video of it.
