hello Blueboy. Welcome to the LOL forum. Its terrific with sound. It looks like the HD camera is back on line YAY. Don't be afraid to post ANYTHING you see and hear. A few of us work during the day and miss the day to day happenings at the nest and the ideal way to catch up is to read other peoples comments.

oh lucky you. Have you been before? I used to go fishing to butterstone in the early 80's and thats when i was first introduced to the area. If i win the lottery i.m buying a house there lol. Only thing is i need to start doing it first. :-D

is that a fish she.s got in her talons on her right foot? Forecast is for more snow tonight and tomorrow. Edinburgh is supposed to get it worse this time. I hope not :-(

LoL Visitor Centre

If I remember correctly, one or more windows do open. The upper Hide is excellent for a wider view over the loch.
If you need accommodation (Farm B&B) PM me and I'll give you details of one very near the Centre. To be near gives the chance of popping into the hides in the evening. We had wonderful views of the youngsters being taught to fish one year, and you can see the whole family perched in the trees opposite (hoping there will be a family!)

My daughter is 12 years old and very responsible so it should be fine.Would be better if the windows opened and then i could get a few pics with a smaller lens as well ---or is there a bit where i could take pics of birds etc going to and from the feeders? And thanks for the info

the windows all lift up in the hides. Its a biting wind on a good day. The window in the centre is wall sized and it doesn't need to open.

just had a weather warning broadcast on the news. Winds of 60mph and snow tonight and tomorrow. Hope perthshire and grampian get off more lightly.

Well pleased HD and sound is back. Laptop on again in living room allowing more continuous watch. Hope his nibs comes back soon but cannot blame him if they sense some sort of weather report :) When it got dark I switched off laptop in time to watch fox in the snow worried about getting out of here tomorrow.
Hope the other half got back OK Ann. Blueboy enjoy your week and make sure you try the stovies in the Taybank hotel believe there are good folk nights there as well if of interest.

not sure if the hd is back now. I can't tell on my gas powered pc. Nice to have to sounds though. Just had a look at her on the nest and its pitiful. The wind is howling and i can see snow falling. Looked at LG nest and it looks worse there. No ej though so she.s not daft. The snow has stopped falling here thankfully too. My oh won't get home til 2moro as he was south bound in his arctic heading to the midlands. Lord knows what time he'll get back at. As long as he.s safe it doesn't matter i suppose.
