i get them in the garden in the winter sometimes but they never hang about long. You.re right though. They.re gorgeous. I never checked the board at the loch yesterday to see if they had been spotted but i know i.ve not seen any at the feeders.

If seen at feeders it is usually in winter/spring, I only gey them then always in a gang. I am sure they will be around the loch though. Glad I can still id blue tits though!

Cam1 not coming up for me at all this evening. I probably will have to go to bed early anyway. But I'll check back again before I give up. I think I'll check on the owlets now. Last night, THAT cam was malfunctioning... Hmm, perhaps I'll get my housework chores done tonight after all!

today there have been a few fish delivered. Mum and chicks have all had fish. Both mum and dad went fishing and at one point both chicks had a fish. Mum even fed a chick today!! I thought she looked like she was dipping her head when she was swallowing similar to us when we.ve got a sore throats.

mum back on the nest and mantling. Can't hear our helium hero though.
Got there today about 12:00 and stayed till 14:30
I saw her fly from willow tree opposite nest after sitting there for ages. Another Osprey then overflew nest and headed on beyond the loch so guess it was a stranger.

About to get me dinner so will post again later or tomorrow if any pictures worth posting it was very dull but dry until drive home.

Hi Barbara Ann, thanks for posting the pics, you can almost here Marje's thoughts coming out of the picture, she seems really pensive! As i'm sure we all will be in a few weeks as we take stock of the season at its end - i know for me, as my first it's been a real eyeopener and totally absorbing - no idea i'd learn so much and at the same time enjoy seeing the ospreys, owls, peregrines, eagles etc etc! "My name is Nick, and i'm a Raptorholic!!" lol :smoke: :-O
