Looking to get an ID on this warbler (1 Viewer)

Hello, my name is Mike. I'm a first time poster. I've been birding since April of 2019. I've been struggling with the ID on this bird, and am now reaching out for help in this message board. Sorry, for the poor picture (It's the reason I'm having a hard time). The picture was taken on September 12th in Perth County, Ontario. I originally thought it was a Pine Warbler. Now I'm leaning more towards a Blackpoll Warbler. Let me know what you think. Thanks.

Hi chipster/Mike and a warm welcome to you from those of us on staff here at BirdForum :t:

I'm not going to hazard a guess because there are so many Warblers that have yellow on them but you sure posted in the right section of the Forum and you should get suggestions or definite IDs.

BTW, I've subscribed you to this thread so that you will get email notifications whenever a suggestion is posted.

The white eye ring was throwing me but didn't know if it was due to the lighting.

Parula for me, too. On young birds and females, the yellow doesn't always appear as a neat patch on the back, but sometimes mixes with the blue-gray color.
