Louisiana or Northern Waterthrush? USA-Northern IL (1 Viewer)

Hey All, here is the second either is a lifer for me but I was wondering which waterthrush I found and how to spot the difference. All I can pick out is that this guys legs are pink not black which leads me to think Louisiana.

Hi Joshua,

Nice shots. For me the underpart streaking extending onto the throat and the buff eyebrow all point to Northern.

The one with the tapering supercilium and the spotty throat. = Northern. Perhaps.

I would say Northern too. The difference in leg colour is meant to be between orangy pink and more bubblegum. Of course, there's overlap...
