Message: <blockquote data-quote="Boom" data-source="post: 1280876" data-attributes="member: 63167"><p>We were there for a week at the end of June- saw Otters in 4 different locations, one at Salen, a male on Loch Schridain not far from Bunnessan, two youngsters at the eastern head of the Loch and also an adult male in Tobemoray harbour one morning,swimming amongst the moored boats. There was a Bearded Seal for a while apparently on Scarisdale Rocks on Loch Na Keal but we didnt see it and theres supposed to be have been a couple of Ospreys knocking about Grass Point this Summer-saw a few GE`s in Glen More including a spectacular sight of one being mobbed by a pair of Peregrines less than 100 ft up. Saw around 7 WTE`s in different locations but unfortunately missed one taking a Seal Pup on the Seal Spit on Loch Schridain. Saw quite a few Hen Harriers, a couple of Sparrowhawks and 2 more Peregrines.Did the whale watching and saw a Minke and some Porpoise-expensive but the Minke made it worth while personally. Tobemoray is the best place for amenities i think, but a lot of the best sites tend to be further south which is typical really-its a spectacular place though.</p></blockquote><p></p>
