Majorca warbler - Arta peninsula (1 Viewer)

Hi everyone,

I took this shot of a warbler on the Arta peninsula in Majorca at the Parc National de Levante on 13th April. It was about the size of a chiffchaff and acted in a very similar way - very restless, constantly moving. I think it might be a Western Bonelli's warbler - which would be a life first for me if that is correct. Just the one shot before it flew off sadly - can anyone confirm the ID for me please? Many thanks, Martin

In theory, you really have to hear it calling to be sure whether Western ("hu-eet") or Eastern Bonelli's Warbler ("chup"), but on Majorca, the overwhelming probability is for Western.
