90 Honey Buzzard past the Albercutx tower today.
I went for my usual seawatch tonight to see the Storm petrel. They fly through quite late in the evening but tonight the light deteriorated rapidly. There was no wind and the mist came down.
Last year I only saw them in stormy seas. Must be living up to their name.
Dolphins put on a great show.
The photo of a very distant fin looked different.
Anyone got any ideas?

I finally made it to the tower today and was pleased to meet Phil A and local man Joan there.
It was a great day but didn’t match the numbers of the past weekend. 33 Honey Buzzard and a good total of 9 Red kite, the latter being quite scarce on migration here.
I looked with envy at some of the camera gear birders now have, I’m still struggling to get my old Canon working.
Not up to their standard but you get the idea.
