Well Done! :clap::clap::clap:
It was the first record for Malta in July and my 131st bird in Malta:t:

I just got the idea that i could start posting the pics just as usual but instead of posting your ids here you pm them to me. After around four days i post the corect bird and those who had got it right get 1 point, forming sort of a competition... What do you think? If you dont like the idea please tell me!

yes, more difficult to the point of being impossible, I imagine it's something nocturnal. Could there be a scops owl in there??

No, sory i supose i darkened it a bit too much (ie its not nocturnal;))
Should be more visible now...

Nope, nice photo though!
btw the osprey was later shot after one hunter hit it in one wing, it continued flying until another hunter coninued shooting at it until it fell from the skies....the reality we have to face don here...

linnet perhaps? Shame about the opsrey, that must be a terrible reality to have to live - the situation in Malta must get better, as long as there are people like you who enjoy the birds, others will learn.
