They aren‘t.
The label on both is „Mavenbuilt Japan“.

Actually, the parts for the Maven binoculars are shipped from Japan to an outfit called Kama-Tec located in San Diego, where assembly (for the B series binoculars and S series Spotters) is done. The custom order finishes are done in San Diego as well. The Japanese OEM owns the fcility in San Diego.
