Defnately, Sue, as long as I don't have to travel too far!o:D

How about yourself?

Nothing new has been reported yet Pam, hope you & Gill find something good in yr neck of the woods. Good luck

Heavy hailstorm half an hour ago, hope my 2 boys are ok on the motorway driving back from Old Trafford!
I always get very stressed out when they go to the game. |=(|

Got 2 Sanderling and 2 Garganey at Upton Warren this afternoon, Sue!:t:

A hailstorm here an hour ago too!

I bet your boys are happy after their trip to Old trafford, Sue! Don't stress, they are probably singing all the way home!

Nice one Pam, Ive never seen a Garganey, but it was the first bird I attempted to paint but the close lines on the wing pattern made my eyes go funny! lol! (too close to migraine for my liking) congrats tho, super birds.

ps, the boys are fine & safe thanks Pam phew!

We had some VERY heavy rain during the night - it woke me up at 12.30 as it hammered off the bedroom window :eek!: Very unusual for me as once I'm asleep I'm out like a light and don't wake up easily 3:)
Clear blue skies and bright sunshine by 6am when I started work and it had turned into a wonderful day by 10am when I was able to escape ;)

Woke up to heavy rain, really heavy rain, but it only lasted about an hour and a half and then there were some sunny intervals and blustery winds. From the Met Office's radar, it looked as though there was another batch to come and as we were heading eastwards to meet friends for lunch, we hoped that we might outrun it. Fortunately we did! By the time we were ready to come home it was clearing and it has been very windy but dry ever since.

Still blustery, still chilly and still with a chance of showers. I want this BBQ summer they are all going on about, I'm fed up with feeling chilly and putting on extra layers each time I go out. Several people in the village had their fires alight yesterday evening, I saw the smoke coming out of the chimneys when I went out walking the dog. I'm also getting fed up with my winter clothes, I've loads of lovely summery things, but it's too b cold to wear them!:-C

Dull and wet....again.....:-C Feeling very slightly less chilly, but the wind is still blowing well.

It's not deterring the birds though, usual mob, usual timings and now looking for more....;)

Bit of a mixed bag weatherwise today - one minute it's blue sky and glorious sunshine and then you barely have time to blink and it's gone all dark and chucking it down really heavy :king: Still pretty warm though and only a slight breeze.
It's raining as I type this *3.03pm* but the sky looks like it's brightening up to the west :t:

I need to get my sweet peas planted out either today or over the weekend as I've had them on the shelf in the window and they are like beanstalks - romping away! :eek!: I got a huge 28'' pot last weekend and a gorgeous willow wigwam to grow them up. Been meaning to do this for years but always left it too late so determined to get a good show this year. Must remember to take some photos too :king:
