Maybe a heron in Austin Texas (1 Viewer)

A large heron type bird on top of my neighbor's apartment for about 5 minutes. Then it flew overhead, graceful with big flaps to the south over me.

Not great shots but you may be able to see the long black beak and white face. And streaks of black on its white body.
