Hello

I found this moth on grassland in Carlisle yesterday. I thought it might be a faded Crambidae of some sort, but I can't find a convincing match. Any ideas?

Thanks

Paul

Thanks for that, wheatearlp.

I've found a few Brown China-mark photos online showing the abdomen, and the markings certainly seem to match.

It wasn't found close to a pond etc, but apparently they're occasionally found elsewhere, so that wouldn't rule it out.
