Hi.

Encountered this Gull this afternoon. It just didn't seen to be a first winter Herring Gull. It has a more delicate featured head and its tertials were an almost solid brown. Legs seemed short. It was distant and sun was in front of me, so pictures not great. Any comments appreciated. I am not good with Gulls. Especially immature ones.

it's a perfect 1st winter/summer herring gull, slightly dark but normal. tertial edges wear off and there's no fringe pattern left.
