Saw this in the Algarve. it is lighter than the Portuguese ( Ommatoiulus moreleti ) just wondered if it was a variant.

A quick check and there are a few images like yours named as O. moreleti -- but there's a recent revision (2017) of the genus in Portugal, with the description of six new species.
 
I'm no expert so I don't know if colour is a reliable feature. However, the species you mention is not listed from Portugal on the Fauna Europaea website (not that it means much).
