I looked through the British Bugs site and thought Adelphocoris ticinensis matched this insect but would be grateful for confirmation / correction.

Looks a good match to me but I'm no bug expert. If you don't get a definite answer here you could iRecord it - usually a fairly prompt reply on bugs in my experience.

Thanks salticus. I found a couple more yesterday about 100m away - the bog has the right plants from the list on British Bugs. I'll submit and see what happens!
