Shooting from exactly the same spot with the same lens combo (300/2.8 + 2x tc) is it amazing how much more detail the 7D captures when very heavily cropped compared to the 40D The attached shot were taken last week with the 7D (full frame + a near 100% crop), not a particularly good shot I admit but the detail from such a huge crop is pretty good IMO.</p></blockquote><p></p>
