Lossiemouth

Saturday in Lossie. Just wondering if this is normal behaviour for a Heron, it was stood in the middle of the river with it's beak under the surface, seemed to be catching food as it felt it, quite a few things about if they're not being chased off by dogs, Herring, Black-head, Common and Great Blacked-backed Gulls, Wigeon, Teal, Red-breasted Mergansers, Bar-tailed Godwit, Curlew, Heron, Redshank, Cormorant. A walk through the woods gave Blue, Coal & Great Tit as well as Crested up on the feeder station and Goldcrest, Wren, Treecreeper, Dunnock, Robin, pictures of the Crested and Goldcrest but a bit dark in the trees, Carrion Crow and Jackdaw also about.

Jim.
