No. But a dust shaker as effective as the one in my 400D will. What - you mean that a few more megapixels won't change your life???
And if the viewfinder is bigger and brighter, I'll get better use out of my TS/E 24. (Bet you it isn't, though.)
If the autofocus system is improved, that will be nice too.
(I used to lie awake at nights dreaming about ISO in the viewfinder and spot metering, but I'm so used to not having them now that I'm not really fussed.)
Oh, and three really, really easy things that Canon certainly should do and equally certainly will not do:
On the other hand, why should they? I mean, I'm going to buy one anyway, aren't I?
- Raw button like a Pentax
- Mirror lock-up button
- A custom function to let you put the damn shutter speed and aperture controls the right way round when you are shooting manual! Drives me nuts! You spend 95% of your time in aperture priority mode (at least I do, along with a clear majority of other photographers) and the top dial controls aperture, while the rear dial controls exposure compensation. Then you want to do something tricky, or simply use a little fill flash, and the bloody dials swap! Stupid design! OK, if you shoot in shutter priority all the time, it makes sense, but how many people do? Maybe one photographer in 5 or 10. The rest of us have to suffer. How hard would it be to change a couple of lines in firmware and add a custom function.
sigh
And - if so - it's pressing quite a few of the right buttons for me.
'Save' your money - get the 300/2.8 glass you want instead...better investment in the long run...
it'll be like a mini Mk III!
