That's right Ken though swap the a & e ;) Unid A is 868 Helcystogramma rufescens Unid C is I feel sure is 1303 Agriphila selasella rather than the more common A. tristella. A. selasella is a saltmarsh species. Wainscots are most likely Smoky. Dog's Tooth is fine from 24/6 Of the others, the top Large Yellow Underwing photo (Dark one) is Heart and Dart and the top 2 photos of Middle-barred Minor are Marbled Minor agg, one of 3 species only determined by dissection. And the Common Footman is beside a pile of Fox Moth eggs. They may hatch soon...caterpillars can be released on Bramble or Meadowsweet. Regarding status in Ireland mentioned in Waring. you have the 1st edition and they are not to be taken seriously. 2nd edition for Dog's Tooth has "more local in Ireland...." From what I remember, Ireland is not mentioned for Broad-barred White. I had intended to bring another battery to you. Battery management is easier with 2 but my back failed me in a big way couple weeks back, to the point of struggling to walk never mind cycling down with a battery. :eek!:
