Moth? please - London UK (1 Viewer)

ChrisKten

It's true, I quite like Pigeons
I know nothing of the little creatures, well not much, but I do watch and photograph almost everything that's living. I just noticed this while cleaning up the garden, so took it's picture. I think it's a bit wet, hence the sheen.

Anyway, I'd guess a Moth, but have no idea which species.

Thanks.

It is a moth, a Noctuid with almost all scales washed away, so almost no wing pattern is in sight, but I suggest this could be Pale Mottled Willow Paradrina clavipalpis.
