Mourning Dove Nests (1 Viewer)

Can I spray the mourning doves nest with soapy water? I recently had a pair of dove nest on my window and their squads matured to fledglings and they have left the nest as of now. I don't want any mites to start appearing as I don't want a mite infestation in my home/mites killing future squads.

Remove the nest completely. If it’s a good site for a nest they’ll build another very quickly.

I have a Mourning Dove nest on my patio...they should hatch any day. The HOA would like to start work on my iron railing and refuse to wait until after the hatchlings have hatched left the nest. I’m worried that the noise will scare them off and abandon the egg/hatchlings....They won’t wait ....I’ve asked. I live in Mexico...so I don’t thing the same protection laws apply as in UK or US
