hi Ann just shows that we live in a small world. We have brushed shoulders somewhere, and we never knew it until a later date. hi Dave Thank you for your kind, reassuring words. Yes, a months notice is what we got, and we will work on it So that gives us a chance to organise a removals firm etc... At least the new house is empty so if we get the keys early which we may we could start moving stuff in - I hope. ;) I think the Church wants their house back as they have a new person in employment for the church around the corner from us. So it is nothing to do with us - the house is run as a business, and that is a fact we cannot dispute. We had 2 and half years out of it so we are not complaining too much. The new house we have got is long term let too. so let it be for a long time. I have to admit the new house has a lovely kitchen - unlike the one we have now which is quite pokey, and small The white goods like the fridge (built in a cupboard), Dishwasher and the Washing Machine are being left behind for us to use. So we will put ours in storage fro the time being. It is true what you say Dave, and Gill, about the birds finding natural food, so I should not worry too much. I hope all the birds we have in our garden all fledge successfully without the support of our feeding stations. :-O I will drop the feeding, a stage at a time, and let things go for the birds benefit now. :-C;) Hi Kits The landlord are the ones who want us out. The Letting Agents are the ones who give the notice on behalf of the Landlord. I understand that a letter arrived from the Letting Agents during the time we where away on holiday. A second repeat letter was then supposed to be handed to us on our doorstep, and we where not in to receive it. A message was left on our telephone answer service about the same issue. So when we got back from Spain, we had two duplicate letters from the Letting Agent, and a message left on our telephone. Hope that answers your question! ;) ;) o:) Regards Kathy
