Moving to KL (3 Viewers)

Hi,
We are moving to Malaysia (KL) at the begining of September this year, can anyone advise of good birding areas/groups/field guides for the area.

Hi Rachael,

Probably the best group is the Malaysian Nature Society (Birdlife International Malaysian partners) www.mns.org.my. Best field guide is Robson's Field Guide to S E Asia. There's also a nice little book by Morten Strange which I think is called a photographic guide to the Birds of Fraser's Hill. Many good birding spots including Taman Negara - Cameron Highlands - Fraser's Hill - Panti - Kuala Selangor. Local birders will know a lot more.
