There's plenty of natural food at this time of year. I'm lucky because there's also a large blackberry bush overhanging the back of my garden. So when they came for the berries they saw my feeders as well. The two trees give plenty of cover, although it's never enough to stop the Sparrow Hawks. Actually I think the Bird Baths attracted quite a few birds as well. The Starlings and Sparrows wash at least three times a day, also the Magpies like a bath once a day. Again, the Pigeons can hog the Baths, but the Starlings harass them if they want to wash. Oh, and the Squirrels drink from the Bird Baths also. I think I could stop feeding but the birds would still visit for the water.</p></blockquote><p></p>
