It is very nice though and features a winding pond with wood duck/hooded merganser boxes, bluebird and wren boxes! I only saw canada geese, but it is still a very nice place to visit and I think would be even better in the spring when birds are nesting!I then traveled to the second lagoon that I often speak of. It has two humungous ponds with paths going around them, a viewing stand to see over one pond and a bit of the second one, forest trails to see songbirds/wildlife, a bluebird trail, two owl boxes, several duck boxes and a creekI found much more here, as it is far more rustic and older than the newer one and more in the woods typeThe first sighting was a great blue heron flying, saw him several more times afterHeard/saw many wood ducks (Mostly females) flying across the water in a panic away from us! Love there calls!Saw some sort of diving duck shaped like a wood duck female very close to the shore in the reeds, As soon as I saw it , it dove under. My suspicion was that it was either a hooded merganser or a redhead, but not entirely sure? Saw a white-rumped sandpiper, very cute!Two cedar waxwings landed in a tree while I watched, love there cute little faces!Although not a bird, I had a really neat sighting of a male deer with a full rack of antlers from across the pond <img src="data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7" class="smilie smilie--sprite smilie--sprite1" alt=":)" title="Smile    :)" loading="lazy" data-shortname=":)" /> Again not a bird, but saw a large snapping turtle in the water!Heard a cardinal calling, but did not see <img src="data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7" class="smilie smilie--sprite smilie--sprite3" alt=":(" title="Frown    :(" loading="lazy" data-shortname=":(" />And on the way out, saw/heard a canada goose flying over <img src="data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7" class="smilie smilie--sprite smilie--sprite1" alt=":)" title="Smile    :)" loading="lazy" data-shortname=":)" /> All in all... a good birding day to me <img src="data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7" class="smilie smilie--sprite smilie--sprite8" alt=":D" title="Big grin    :D" loading="lazy" data-shortname=":D" />I should be back with some more good stuff tommorow, possibly some sort of woodpecker <img src="data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7" class="smilie smilie--sprite smilie--sprite1" alt=":)" title="Smile    :)" loading="lazy" data-shortname=":)" /> (most likely pileated's, to be exact <img src="data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7" class="smilie smilie--sprite smilie--sprite1" alt=":)" title="Smile    :)" loading="lazy" data-shortname=":)" /> )</blockquote>
