I would normally expect Pipistrelle on a warm evening in late Spring however, with the appalling weather (I think most of us Brits have had) I was wondering if I’d see any this Summer.
Thus I was somewhat relieved at espying several zapping over the trees last night (just within the remit of the halogen wall light) unfortunately all obscured by the canopy thus couldn’t proffer any ID to them.😩
If not last night, the next two nights in the SEast should be promising, with the forecast of high temps, mince pies to the skies guys.👍
