Not really sure if this is the best forum for this, but I have just started a new hobby. Felting! Very satisfying as you stab a lot with a needle, not sure what this says about me!!

Also not sure I should have started with a blue tit, bit complex. In some ways I am pleased, in some ways I am not - looks like it’s wearing a black scarf and will have to buy better feet materials. I do plan to post my progress though :)

Thanks Delia - not sure it’s Art yet!
LOL of course it is!!!

It would be lovely if you could show the progress you make from the beginning of the idea for one, and how you progress it. We've had similar with wood carvings and paintings.

It's really interesting.

I’ve got wool and stuff now - not a kit - so I’ll have to plan the next one. Went for florists paper covered wire for the feet, so that should look better. I’m thinking nuthatch or humming bird :)

This time I’m not using a kit and am making my own body and head from wool. The kit used a polystyrene pro for a to start. It is taking a long time. This is how far I have got!

New hobby on hold. I am crocheting a blanket for my work friends who have just had a 10week premature son!

That's a very pretty pattern Julie.

I used to love crocheting till my eyes became troublesome.
