I'm not sure how we went from a flycatcher to a lorikeet, but can I play a parakeet here?

Lorikeets are regulars on my property. I'll see them more or less every other day, but I will say that the rainbows definitely seem to outcompete the scaley-breasteds. I have a resident pair of pale-headed Rosellas here also, but there's not a lot around from my observations over the years. They're very shy-natured birds and seem to get bullied out by the aforementioned, unfortunately they share the same habitat.

So.... We have gone:-
4623. Slaty-blue Flycatcher
4624. Scaly-breasted Lorikeet
4625. Coconut Lorikeet
Rainbow Lorikeet - duplicate
Australian King Parrot - duplicate & same poster
4626. Peach-fronted Parakeet
4627. Pale-headed Rosella

A reminder that we are trying to build a series of different bird species photographed but with a number of rules including links between consecutive species, avoiding duplicates & different posters posting consecutive pictures.

I have brought the spreadsheet up to date. A repeat (and slight refresh) of the Rules and the link to help with updating etc....

1. You have to have seen and photographed the bird - any photos must be your own.
2. You cannot repeat a bird that someone else has already posted - check the spreadsheet and if not up to date, the thread.
3. You are allowed to make 3 wrong entries, after the 3rd erroneous entry each time, you must sit out for the next 10 birds
4. You cannot post two birds in a row (ie post another bird after yourself).
5. Try and link the bird you post with the previous bird (Name (i.e. Crow)), family, colour, body part, geographical area, nature of the species (eg island endemic), plumage characteristic, etc).
6. Add your photo as an attached file rather than in the post as this makes each post smaller, meaning slightly less scrolling & this makes updating the spreadsheet easier.
7. Include the IOC name and scientific name from the spreadsheet together with the consecutive number of the addition as again, this makes updating the spreadsheet easier.

Below is a link to a spreadsheet which holds all the birds named - 4,026 species as at now on 17th July 2024:-

Is that thing searchable? Entries are not collated alphabetically and I don't seem to be able to use the search function to search for unique entries.

Click on the link & Ctrl F allows you to search. It is updated periodically. Column C is taxonomic order and Column D is the number that it was played if it has been played. Clearly, if no number in Column D, it has not been played subject to the spreadsheet being up to date.
