The other option is to go to the little downward arrow at the right-hand end of the top of Column B, and from the drop-down manu select 'Sort sheet A → Z'. That sorts the list alphabetically, and you can scroll up & down to see if a particular bird name is taken already or not. You need to look under the IOC name for the species (i.e., 'C' for 'Common Starling', not 'S' for 'Starling' or 'E' for 'European Starling')KC, when you highlight the spreadsheet, hit control F. A search window will pop up. Type in your bird. It will tell you if it has been posted. EDIT. I tell you this because, at first, I was scrolling through the list.![]()
