I did it the 'official' way, which is good but slightly confusing as well. I reckon NE Brazil is a lot easier to do logistically these days than it would have been even five to ten years ago. Things like Ebird and Google Maps make finding birds and sites ways easier.

It was more like 20 years ago when I went. I can remember sleeping outside without any tent or sleeping bag with Nicky, just on the ground in the forest with big ants, somewhere near Canudos, where the bus went past what looked like good habitat to bird, so we got off. 😊

Yes, put an o rather than a. I thought since Sulawesi was a place and the Dalmatian Coast is a place, that might tie in. Sorry for the stretch.
