I'm almost totally out of Thraupidae now. Great to have you joining in, Cajanuma. I'm sure you'll have seen loads of Neotropical birds that haven't been played yet. I can think of one you saw on that day we met, over a quarter of a century ago, that I still haven't seen yet!

Would that be Black-headed Antthrush Larry? I've only laid eyes on one more since then. BTW much of my Neotropical birding these last few years has been with Justyn and Nicole, the two US birders you met in Yucatan

Wow, Justin and Nicole! Please send them our regards. Lovely couple 😊. And yes, the antthrush was what I was thinking of. Funnily enough there is a connection there. Justin ran back to find us when they located what was to be my only Myan Antthrush. Proper birder behaviour 👍😊
