Why did the count go from 1455 to 1515? I think we're probably still at 1455.

the count was on 1478 species on post #1478;
it increased progressively to 1498 on post #1751
then on post #1756 it went back to 1450 by accident
(that's what I was referring to on the post on the top of this page, which Deb fixed just below)
A way to avoid this would be to use an excel list of the World birds (like the one Clements list provides) and tick off the species played. You'd know exactly how many species had been played, how many would be outstanding and repeats would be avoided, but perhaps this is too much work.
