Namibia. March 2024. Shore bird Juvenile Plover ? (1 Viewer)

Hello,

This bird was on the shoreline of Walvis bay, Namibia, last march.
With its shape, and as it has patches of black feathers, I'm thinking of a juvenile plover :
Grey plover ?
Thank you for your help

Grey plover, yes, but with that pattern and in March it's an adult (or 1-year-old) moulting into breeding plumage. (Juvenile plumage only lasts from fledging until autumn; after that, the bird is essentially adult.)
