I saw this apparent Sandpiper poking around just up the beach from the water among dried seaweed. There were Killdeer around and this looked to be about 70% the size. I'm sorry the angle in the pictures is so terrible; I don't remember exactly, but I was feeling rushed and also not able to tell with confidence what I was getting picture-wise in real time1-IMG_4638.jpg. The yellow legs and overall body shaped look different to me than familiar shorebirds here, but I am not confident about these peeps. Could this be a Stilt Sandpiper?
