I am returning to the Dirang Valley (Sela,Mandala,Eaglesnest) in spring of next year. I wish to find either one or two persons to share the experience and to share costs. I have a number of species which draw me back. The trip would suit someone who will have travelled to the area before and would like to jointly plan a route which satisfies each others requirements. This trip should not be viewed as a cheap alternative to a guided birdtour. I guess early this year. I only recorded 2/3rds of the 400-500spp regularly seen on a group tour (I guess it helps having a larger group bristling with optics). I am retired but it does not mean I have slowed down. Duration and dates are flexible but I cannot start until 25th April from Guwahati. I will be arriving after finishing a trek in the Great Himalayan NP which ends on 22nd April.
I wrote a piece on costs posted in Vacational trip reports on 12th May North East India,Eagles nest and Singalila, This outlines the likely costs.
