Two posts with a selection of pics. The first set of it scratching and roosting on an adjacent fence and the second set of it successfully fishing for White-clawed Crayfish in the Manulla River.

All the best

I'm going on Friday. Was it relatively easy to find?

It has been trickier today I understand travelling further downstream so it will be worthwhile keeping an eye on sightings tomorrow as well. It can be underneath the bank or roosting out of sight in trees. When I was there it covered the area in the attached map.

If it is active, you will find it by walking the bank. It can be very obvious and very confiding. If it is roosting, it can be very difficult or hidden.

All the best
