However Nikon's refurbished binoculars do have a 90 day warranty.  AFAIK it has always been 90 days.  And it is unmistakeable.  It is printed on the boxes they come in and in the literature that comes with them.   Also there is a stamp on the binocular that will identify it as refurbished.   13 years ago I purchased a refurbished Nikon 10x35 EII at High Point Scientific.  I still use it and have had no problems with it.  It cost $250.00 which was $200.00 less than the price of a new one at that time.  It is still a bargain IMO.Bob</blockquote>
