interesting, thanks, so 2018 is when Nikon USA checked out of EDG - I wonder if they discontinued the E2's at the same time?

It looks like we may have lost some of Nikon Japan's larger porros this year, which is a shame. Hopefully it's just a glass shortage or something and they return to stock.

I bought the EDG 7X42 in November 2020. The serial number of my specimen is #381. I think it has remained unsold for a long time in the shelves. I also think (my opinion) that the owners of this binoculars in Italy can be counted on the fingers of one hand or a little more... Superb bino, although I prefer (just for reasons of greater visual comfort with my glasses) the Zeiss Victory FL 7x42 when I’m going for the raptor migration surveys
