New Garden feeder (3 Viewers)

I installed a bird feeder at the back of my garden just before Christmas with a seed feeder, a suet ball feeder, a tray for peanuts and a water tray. I've been too busy with the festive holidays and health issues to give it much attention but finally in the last week I've been able to keep it topped up and today I opened my bedroom blind in the morning to see a great spotted woodpecker feeding from it. I was very happy and decided to spend some time sitting by the window having breakfast and watching for what came along.
I saw the following over the course of an hour n a half
  • Great spotted woodpecker
  • Robin (he came by often and bullied the other birds away when he was around)
  • A pair of magpies
  • A wood pigeon
  • Several grey squirrels (they cleared out the peanut tray within an hour and happily buried most of them in next doors garden)
  • A few Coal tits
  • A juvenile herring gull (I'd rather not attract the gulls and have now moved the feeder back from the wall a bit so it's harder for them and probably safer from the neighborhood cats too.)
  • A few blue tits
  • A couple of great tits
  • A female blackbird I think
  • A goldcrest
  • A couple of blackcaps
Aside from the woodpecker the coal tits were my fav to watch. Often bullied away by the robin but still determined to keep coming back! I think it's going to be a very successful feeder and I'm going to try getting a trail camera to hopefully get some nice pics of what comes along (I'll be wading through squirrel pictures probably!). I'll attach a few rubbish phone pics from today anyway.
