It's certainly an excellent choice for travelling light/carrying abroad etc. The more I use it the more I get to like it. With hindsight, perhaps I over-egged the issue about the tightness of the panning action, and could have over-tightened it onto the tripod when I first tried it. It's just a personal bug-bear of mine about bits and pieces working loose/wobbling.Haven't yet tried it for digiscoping, but can certainly believe it works as well as you say Paul.Cheers,Steve</blockquote>
