Who cares, I want more of them.........

Hi Jan, I would guess this pair has been used and abused for about 6 or 7 years (rough estimate), but the armor still looks better than that of some more recent binos with the FP package. Do your customers bring their rather old binos to you for service, instead of sending them directly to Swaro?///Peter

Ahhh, you've got it.

This bin was recently found by a ranger in a forest. Via the serial number, Swarovski could say us to which dealer is was sold. This dealer still had the pin transaction of the sale and via the bank account number we traced the original buyer.
It turned out she lost it two and a half years ago during a walk in the forest.

This is how a EL looks like when lost in Nature.
I must say, I do love the color.
The bin will go to Swaro for a complete service and will return to the original owner.

That's what I call complete customer service!

Was it a special edition finish, even for the hunting section? Typical Swarovski goodwill. Happy ending for the owner.

Jan, do you think in this extreme instance that Swarovski will add to the happy ending by carrying out that complete service free of charge? :)

Hi Tom,

The bin still functions as it should be, only a mouse, or something like that, enjoyed the rubber eyecup and the rubber armoring seems to have given life to several forms of agriculture activities and does need to be replaced.
It wouldn't surprise me if the bin is transformed into a biological weapon and it that case the dismantling of it may cost a fortune, otherwise......
Nehh, no worries you own a Swarovski.
