I still think however that compared to the Kowa and other recent scopes that the extra thousand pounds simply cannot be worth it-even my Zeiss Diascope is so sharp at 60x even with my 40:20 eyes that I simply would not be able to justify the extra expense/worry that it might be broken. I realise a great leeway in price is expected in scopes with them being things that are often saved up for for ages, but even so I still think £3000 or so for the new Leica is too far.</blockquote>
