With a 1.4X TC I still get close to that and then with 2X and 3X TC it drops off a bit but it's usually because I'm going for too great a distance on a warm day where the weather will have an affect on image quality. I rarely lose an image where I wasn't actually in focus, there's usually another reason. Where do you think the root of your problem with focusing is?Paul.</blockquote>
