Looking at the declination of the Sun today, I think that it was possible around midday local time for you to see a small portion of the sun peeping above the horizon, assuming that you have a flat horizon where you are.
Taking atmospheric refraction into account I think that maybe you could see it yesterday, just.
If you were able to view from a high point in relation to the horizon, maybe even two days ago.
Was the weather clear of cloud today, so you could actually see the Sun.
I think that you had 52 days with the Sun below the horizon.
I'd probably go into hibernation.
There is a nice comet at the moment, which is a good binocular object. Maybe 15° or so to the right of the Pleiades.
