No need to laugh - The one bathing is a Common sandpiper - Correct!

The flying one isn't a juvenile starling though.

if it's not the mallard, the only other thing in the pic is water! Unless that's a bird's tail in the top left hand corner.

You are correct Nick Derry, and i suppose it would be too unfair to ask you what bird it was - It was a Sand martin. I should have said, find where the second bird was, instead of, what was it.

Oh well, on to the next one - Yes, there are Canada geese in there, but who else is hiding? Any Fylde birders cannot take part in this one, as I'm sure they know what the Bird is.
