Nick's Photo quiz (1 Viewer)

On-Firecrest

Stuck in a Rutt
One of them's a Greylag Goose, the other's legs are brighter, but not as bright as a Whitefront, it's either strong light on another Greylag or something more interesting like a Bean Goose?

Greylag and Bean goose were the two (Bean being the right one).

Here's another one to tackle (i have partially covered it up - on purpose).

P.S. Here's a pic of the face of the Bean (more pics on my Blog).

Can you all confirm that this is just a Tundra, with a lot of Orange on it, and not a Taiga.

Cheers.

C'est pas ma faute, je suis anglais.
I must be drunk! I see a perfect isabelline shrike in that bush! So we'll be sensible and say a lesser whitethroat.

I'm fairly sober (but tired) and agree, did you see the yorkshire one last autumn?

Never seen one, I've always been a reluctant twitcher, but still go for birds found locally - Yorkshire was too far away when I was living in the midlands, and now definitely too far from France! Never mind, we get plenty of red-backed round here.

as the hawthorn berries on the photo show that this is not a recent photo (sober now) I'll go with my initial izzy shrike (whether turkestan or daurian or whatnot I don't know!)
