Sure weight helps to an extent.  Reducing power helps.  Major reason the Leupold 6x30 is so easy to use. But for me I have identified the real culprit.  Growing older.  I notice that my handwriting is increasingly getting worse as the years slip by. Try and concentrate as I do, I just can't keep my hand steady to make things smooth.  So I use any kind of rest available when I use binoculars.  No free lunch.  John</p></blockquote><p></p>
