Nikon MHG 8x30 eye cups and an embarrassing question (1 Viewer)

I'm a huge fan of the Nikon MHG 8x30. One minor quibble is in certain conditions I get a lot of stray light that I must cup and block with my hands to prevent leakage.

Are there perhaps some eye cups that I could replace the stock ones with that would block such stray light?

Maven sells binocular eye shields, but it looks like if I installed these I wouldn't be able to use the eye cover.

Finally, an embarrassing question:
How do I exactly mount the strap that comes with the bins?

Hi Muxo,

You can attach the Nikon strap in the way that they recommend for their cameras
It's both secure and avoids having the ends flapping around
